Prof. Shih Chih-Chen is an academic and researcher in Taiwan. He was born on February 19, 1961, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST). Prof. Shih earned his Bachelor’s (1983) and Master’s (1985) degrees in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), USA in 1992. Prof. Shih’s academic career began in 1993 when he joined NKUST. He has held various academic and administrative positions, including Vice President of the University, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Director of the Graduate Institute, and Head of the Research Division.As a researcher, Prof. Shih has worked on topics such as process modeling and simulation, process control, and system design. He has published more than 170 scientific publications in leading journals and international conferences.In addition, Prof. Shih is also actively involved in professional and community activities, including being a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, a member of the Chinese Institute of Chemical Engineers, and a Senior Editor for the Journal of Chemical Engineering of Japan.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Prof. Ts. Dr. Zulkarnain Kedah is an academic and researcher in Malaysia. He was born on January 1, 1965, in Alor Setar, Kedah. He currently serves as the Rector of the University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (UniMy), a university established in 2012. Prof. Zulkarnain earned his Bachelor’s (1987) and Master’s (1990) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001. Prof. Zulkarnain’s academic career began in 1988 when he joined UTM as an assistant lecturer. He has held various academic and administrative positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs, and Director of the Research and Innovation Center. As a researcher, Prof. Zulkarnain has worked on topics such as computer networks, network security, and e-learning technology. He has published more than 150 scientific publications in leading journals and international conferences. In addition, Prof. Zulkarnain is also actively involved in professional and community activities, including being a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the Asia-Pacific Advanced Network (APAN).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
